I previously worked at Kmart as it closed down their locations back in 2016. to maintain unemployment at the time I applied to three jobs a week for a year, I only got one interview and never heard back from them after that.

Since then I've been out of work for about 8 years now, I am a full time unpaid caregiver and I've been looking for a Remote Position. Now my previous experiences include Sales, Customer Service, and Data Integrity. Perhaps I'm applying for the wrong things however... cont.

How soon after a final interview with a DM is ok to call and follow up on a job potential?

I gave my various rounds of interview in Deloitte USI 2 months ago, and since then till last Friday it was showing " interview in progress" on their job portal, HR said earlier that we are interviewing other candidates. I got an offer from Amazon last week and asked Deloitte recruiter to speed up the process, i didn't get any reply on my email but now it's showing " review in progress" on the job portal. What does it mean? Shall I wait for Deloitte offer or take Amazon's offer.

I have given joining date of my previous company with a difference of 1 week and submitted joining form.

Why do recruiters never tell you which agency they want to talk to you about until they get you on the phone? I don’t want to waste anyone’s time and it would be helpful to know this info from the initial outreach. My experience with this only applies to healthcare, but would imagine it’s the same in consumer as well. Anyone?

Left PA and started industry remotely. Haven’t been in the office. Met my team one time. Tips are to always be on video for even the smallest of calls. Take a ridiculous amount of notes. In downtime, go through your notes and come up with questions by reperforming old work. Set up recurring question sessions with your team so you know what to do next time. Set up performance meetings even monthly because it’s hard to get a gauge on your performance
