Hi all. Left Deloitte Audit in December for a TAS role at a regional Atlanta firm (approx 170 employees in all service lines). We are looking for someone with 2-3 years public acctg experience to build out our TAS practice. I am being paid $100k + $10k signing bonus and haven't worked more than 40 hours a week since I started in January. 4 weeks pto. 1 week "wellness days" aka extra pto. Thoughts on opening a private banking account for investing? I have an old IRA, current work 401k, online HYSA and modest (~200k) vanguard account. I feel like my money is all over the place, and other than investing in an S&P 500 ETF, I don’t really know how to best grow my money. I’m debating opening a private banking account and delegating all money management to a professional. But is it worth it? Any thoughts/experiences?

Currently negotiating salary for a new role at a fintech. I came to EY straight out of undergrad, so this is my first time negotiating. Does $120-140k seem like a reasonable band with 3 YoE? I’ve tried looking at Glassdoor, Comparably, etc. but the numbers vary quite a bit. Firm appears to be in a high growth stage and role is tailored almost perfectly to my skill set/experience FWIW.

Anyone here know of any nonprofits looking to hire a new CS grad for a data engineering role? The grad has a good amount of past project and internship experience and is a really quick and motivated learner.

I’m looking for some advice. I’m trying to get more experience in one area in audit, but don’t really have many connections to managers in that area to get staffed. Deployment is pretty useless and fix known for telling people they’re on their own. I’m planning to ask around for work and to get staffed on those jobs, but what else can I do to help get opportunities to be on those jobs?
