Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

I’m not sure how this will impact this bowl, but it is worth pointing out the need to assess whether there should be concern for those in this bowl. While we all understand ADHD is something attorneys are completely capable of managing with legal positions, not everyone in the field agrees with that. https://joinfishbowl.com/post_va66ztgmkw

Starting out at 30 is scary? It is scary at any age, so imagine at 53. After 7 years as an assistant at a major pharmaceutical, my department was closed. 5 months in still no job, and only three interviews. I would suggest you start looking at other type of jobs, assistants are going to be replaced by AI…it is one of the most in danger roles in the future. You are still young, go back to school, become a xray tech, a nurse, or domething in the health field…
I disagree. AI will never replace soft skills, however, hard skills is definitely a possibility.
Admin assistant here, too. I work PT as a VA and PT in a separate office. Many skills transfer, so just because you don't have experience as a VA, doesn't mean you don't have experience. Highlight those transferable skills. And you're right, it's never too late. But just know it is a little tricky to land fully remote jobs these days. Not impossible. Just may take more time and patience to find.
You've got this! Having the admin assistant background should help out. A VA is just an AA in a different setting. It can take a bit to get used to dealing with people you support virtually but covid helped me with that hurdle. Now, even though I'm in a hybrid role, most of the execs I support aren't even in the same state.
It seems like you have the determination to do well in any setting, so I think you would be absolutely fine. 30 years old or not, I think you’ll do well. It can’t be that hard. If anything, it should be easier because it’s not a face-to-face interaction. Best of luck to you!
