Opinions about TMW London?
Any Spotify people here? Noticed there’s an AM role going at the moment in the UK but not sure what experience level it is. For reference I’ve got 6 years in ad sales experience with 3 years management (both in music industry). Would this be comfortable or is it worth holding out for AD?

Cheif of staff to some organizations means right hand of the president , the COS traditionally knows every thing and vice versa.
How I engage with the COS at my org is if I don’t get the presidents ear I will go to them and they will get the message to him at the right time.
When the president isn’t in office the COS acts on his behalf . I don’t see a problem with them being in the room.
What is the harm?
Yes, but I was very junior and it didn't go well for me.
My manager told me it was important for this person to be there for training and something they regularly did at the company (she was 1 level above me, and I honestly hated her). She was there and made comments that really annoyed me. This actually made that whole meeting a disaster for me because I lost focus about demonstrating my achievements.
I left that job within months and that meeting was the nail in the coffin.
If you have a good relationship with your manager, ask them why they'll attend and say that you're not comfortable, and ask if it's possible for them not to attend.
I recruited for VP roles and Business Managers, so a lot of times chief of staff folks came across my radar. Is it possible the chief of staff handles the presidents administrative responsibilities? It’s common for super high ups to be lost without an admin.
So perhaps she’s joining for documentation purposes and isn’t there to actually facilitate anything. I’m not sure, though.
