I report to the President of my company and his Chief of Staff set up my review with him. In passing she mentioned that she was working with him on my review and she is also on the invitation. Has anyone ever had to ask their boss to not have a person be part of the review? Chief of staff is an operational role not an HR or management position. She has no experience in those spaces and it’s concerning to me that she’d be sitting in on this. Has anyone ever been through something like this?

RSU-137 (over 4 yrs) worth 13.5 LPA,standard Amazon vesting

I moved to my current company just a month back but Amazon process was in progress, so leaving in probation. I don't think they considered TC of my current company (17 LPA from 7.5 LPA) as it's been just a month. Any views regarding the offer and TC offered.

- If i allow them to contact my current employer, do they still ask for W2’s and Paystubs?

Round or exact numbers on banners/LPs? I was curious about this since in negotiations for example or pricing it's better to have the exact number. But if you have a case study, for example, is it better to say "Client X increased their revenue to 1,000,000 ARR" instead of "Client X increased their revenue to 987,500 ARR" ? I applied for a job at Embark about a week ago - should I be worried that I haven't heard back? How long does it usually take to hear back from a company after applying online? It's been a while since my last job search and I don't want to get too worked up after only a week if I don't need to.

Does anyone if there is anything legally a company can do to you if you don’t provide a two weeks notice when quitting? I’ve heard corporate talking about charging people for leaving without proper notice but this doesn’t sound legal.
