I respect backing your team and at that level, you can’t panic every time there’s noise & loyalty matters. But if I’m being honest, it’s hard not to notice the double standard at GS. Wall Street is quick to talk about accountability and governance until it’s their own execs in the hot seat. My take is that leadership is easy when things are smooth. It’s when it’s messy that we see what people really stand for. Am I being too cynical here, or does this feel a bit selective?
