What is a fair pay with roughly 2 years experience and an EIT license.

Is $80,000 fair to both me and the company. Since I'm really on the cusp of being an Electrical Engineer II?

There’s now a lawsuit in Texas challenging PREP. How much longer do y’all plan to live in the US? This is actually how I predicted this would unfold. That folks with moral objections would file a lawsuit like this, and then get it up to The Church for review, and then overturn Lawrence v Texas. This is just happening a lot faster than I thought.

How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. So I was a 5th year associate in nyc making 100 k a year 2k billable hours.. I decided to leave for the role Im in now.. my old countered to keep me at 115k (which was like pulling teeth for them) but I left anyways now I find out that they offered a 7th year 150 k and a partner title should I be offended that they didn’t even try more with me

7 year lawyer here. Been with the same big national firm all 7 years (not BigLaw) doing complex litigation. Been working remote a long time due to moving around for wife’s job. As a result of the moving was bumped off partner track. I’m looking at a great small firm that will be a practice change (but still litigation). I’m told they’re looking for someone with less experience and they’re skeptical because of my experience. It’s frustrating. How do I overcome this?
