I spent almost 20 years at agencies. I got laid off last year and took a consulting role at the manager level in Big Tech. I’m paid enough to be comfortable and have little stress because I’m doing a job that’s easy for me, but can’t shake that I’m settling or it may set me back later if I decide to go for long term gigs. Am I crazy? Should I just enjoy not being stressed for the first time in my life for longer than a few months?
