Too soon to tell with confidence, but it’s a very strong likelihood. Coin toss in my mind right now
There is a big chance. In order to win democrats would have to outvote reps by a massive margin
Not necessarily. They just need to vote in the right states and districts, which is a much harder feat to accomplish
Statistically every incumbent president should be more likely to get reelected than not.
Yea probably- but he does have some self destructive tendencies and there is always a chance he will do something utterly moronic that will blow it for him.
I’d say he’s more likely to lose. His poll normals are historically bad and he’s never polled above 50%, even with a red hot economy. The democrats are much more passionate in their hatred against trump than their support of Clinton in 16, so turnout is going to be very high. And in 16 trump had the benefit of people voting for him to “see what’ll happen”, but in 2020 there’s going to be no question in anybody’s mind about what kind of president he will be, which will peel off a small but potentially significant portion of his 2016 voters.
Definitely a toss-up election but I’d still say a democrat has a slightly better chance of winning than he does.
Probably the only way Trump loses is if the economy tanks.
