I told you people. Your turn in the hot seat. This is just the beginning; we’ll be getting way more than 1 mugshot. “The Eastern District of Virginia to indict former FBI Director James Comey and is preparing to charge New York Attorney General Letitia James with mortgage fraud, three sources tell MSNBC.”

I want to legally destroy the Democratic Party. They have forfeited their right to be a political power for almost two centuries now. They also economically touched me in a bad place. It ends now.

Nope. Closest one was the classified documents case, but even that one was garbage. President is not a random citizen and an actual law governs his papers, which the prosecutor completely omitted from the charging papers.

Why are you using this platform to have these kinds of discussions? It‘s just weird - I got an email from Glassdoor showing me your comments about something unrelated to legal work, jobs, etc… have you heard of truth social or X? - you may get a better audience there.

The whole point of posting here is to repeatedly slam libs’ heads into facts and arguments outside of their fragile, lazy ideological bubble.

First they came for that snake Comey, a leaking deep-state rat,
And I didn’t care—
I’m no rotten Democrat.

Then they came for that hack Letitia, a vindictive DEI AG with a grudge,
And I stayed silent—
I’m no crooked Democrat.

Then they came for that traitor Bolton, a war-hungry sellout with a book,
And I didn’t flinch—
I’m no spineless Democrat.

Then they didn’t come for me—
Because America was being liberated, and the real fight was just beginning.

Brain fluid appears to be leaking.

A friend of mine from a top tier consulting firm was counseled out. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? Specially that he considers the potential layoff is purely based on the current situation (chargeability was low) and not on his performance (they said that his contribution to BD during his bench time was low)?

I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. What do you do when you feel the goalpost has been/is being moved re: billable requirements? Like there's a spoken vs unspoken? I chose this job based on billables vs salary and what I'm being told I'm expected to do now is 20-30% (at least) > than what was initially agreed upon. Given my other life responsibilities, this is creating a huge strain & I feel like this is slowly getting harder & harder on my spouse & kids. I'm grateful to have lots of good work but not sure how to course correct.
