I see several posts from people asking how they can help during these times with a few extra $$$ to spend. Here is just one of many ideas.

#stepuptothetable is about helping local restaurants who are struggling during these times. I have seen numerous linkedin posts with videos where people challenge each other to step up to the table & buy meals & gift cards from their community restaurants. A great way for those of us who are more fortunate to support business & keep people employed.

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Practice by explaining things to people who aren't in finance. If you can make your mom understand why a budget reallocation is important, you can make leadership see reason too.

Yess, I was literally talking to my manager about that yesterday. We were talking about how my studies will help to actual understand why I am doing things and not just doing it because I know to do it, if that makes sense?
Explaining the why is a great way to see the connections beyond what’s in front of you. I see higher levels doing this frequently, but it’s not something you always think about earlier on. Building the skill comes down to being curious, asking good questions, and then getting into the mindset of it. Does anyone else's company make big changes without explaining the reasoning? That little piece makes such a huge difference, but you don’t always see it.
100% Agree! I'm currently training an employee on a daily function and there are many steps. I've taken the time to explain the 'why', at every juncture. In this way, were not just giving them a list of tasks to try and commit to memory. But training them to think about what their doing. When this employee sat next to me with her laptop and training notes and began this function for the first time, she was immediately able to point out errors and resolutions with her process.
