I want to move to a city with an actual Jewish community like NYC but having terrible time finding jobs. Anyone has any advice on what I can do to improve my chances? Looking in management consulting or data science/tech strategy space.

I've had three interviews so far: 1) with the recruiter, 2) with the hiring manager, 3) with the lead of an adjacent division. I was contacted by the hiring manager (just 5 days after interview 3) asking if I was still interested and if I'm available for another meeting. He mentioned it would only take 30 minutes. Any thoughts on what to expect?

Hello hive mind. I am currently interviewing with three agencies. Pretty far along with two of them. One of the positions is a Jr. copywriter position while the other two are just for a copywriter. How important would it be to not have the “Jr” before the title? Personally, I don’t care about the title, but wonder about future employer’s?

How would you allocate $200K today, knowing (1) this is in addition to your HYSA, investment, 401K.. (2) you have no immediate use (3) if we see a drop in real estate price in the next 1-2 yr timeframe, this could be part of your down payment for a house in HCOL

Rejected by HBS and GSB post interview... feeling pretty low. Was hoping I'd get one after interviewing. Not sure what I could have done differently. 750 GMAT, >3.8 GPA from top 10 UG, multiple promotions, strong recs, well-known employer. The process feels so random... I know there are so many qualified candidates and so few spots but I wish they had seen it in me.

Thoughts on asking a client to change a meeting in September due to Jewish holidays? It’s a lot of participants and they want me to prep and facilitate for their team.

My fiancé just made Aliyah for med school. Long distance is hard but I love my job/firm culture. I wish I could stay, but I’ll need to switch to a firm that allows working abroad in a year at the latest. In a year, we get married and I make Aliyah too. I’m afraid to tell anyone at my firm. I’m also looking for American companies that pay well and allow employees to live in Israel. Thoughts? Advice?
