Hi Fishes,
Many peoples saying product based company will pay more than service based company.
But I think nowadays service based companies are paying more than services based.
Actually Tiaa global business services is product based company but not even ready to match the offer. Before interview they are ready to give package but once interview get cleared they will not ready to pay package based on your expectation.

Hi fellow fishies!
Can someone please explain what is “SUPPLEMENTARY allowance” in my payslip??? It is the highest in my entire payslip, more than basic salary. Basic is lets say ₹7 lac annually and supplementary bonus is ₹7 lac 40 thousand.
Can someone please explain why this exists in my paylslip, is it good or bad from tax perspective and shall I ask my HR to decrease it???
Please help asap.

I’d take it and jump if a better opportunity comes up. Realistically, if you’ve already been admitted to MBA next year, it doesn’t really matter. You’re just there for the resume filler and pay.
If the pay is close and you're happy with the job duties, then accepting the offer at the associate level may be the best decision. However, if you feel like you would be dropping down a level or that the pay isn't fair, then you may want to consider declining the offer.
Things to add, I don’t know that I want to be on that specific team anyway, I just don’t want to be out of work too long (Immediate manager seems very Type A), but they are promising “High growth opportunities” and I don’t even see myself staying for that long, Im simply not trying to be unemployed until I begin my MBA next fall.
