in the F&F they pay the statutory bonus of minimal amount so that the abide by bonus act and dont have to pay the full bonus too

Payment of bonus is not compulsory anyway. That's why it's always over and above.

It is clearly stated in letters that even if you resign on 30Nov, no bonus.

For you, there will be no payout. Disbursement gets locked around 15 of each month I guess. So, if you resign after 15 nov, you may get payout, but it will be adjusted in fnf

I’m in big law and on the cusp of making the jump to in-house. It sounds like the company I just interviewed with is getting ready to make me an offer. It’s definitely going to be a pay cut coming from big law but I do get some nice equity in the company. Is the jump worth it? I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
