Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

📌Apply for Unemployment so you can keep up with bills and monthly expenses. Go for a walk outside to collect your thoughts. Go window shopping to get the negativity out of your energy. In the meantime, collect as many work-related documents as possible and consult with an Employment Lawyer. Document dates/times that team meetings occurred and names of people involved . Keep a copy of the Employee Handbook. Also, do you have copies of the training material in writing? Did they state the reason for termination in writing as well? The more evidence, the better!! Do NOT contact HR unless you have to. Any contact with HR should be in email.
I'm sorry to hear this, and from what you're saying it does sound peculiar. If you weren't staying in touch with people that could be a legitimate problem, though someone should have talked to you about it before having something like this happen. I'm not sure what you can do about it, generally speaking companies can let people go and don't need to justify their actions. Best advice going forward is probably just put it behind you and in future positions be proactive in soliciting feedback.
Consult with a lawyer.
You can ask a lawyer about wrongful termination.
Wow, I am so sorry to hear that. Do you live in an at-will state? If you do, there likely isn't anything you can do about it. I don't know that I would even put that on my resume.
Chief
That sounds unfair. I would request documentation and challenge the decision with calm persistence.
