How many of you have a "side hustle" in addition to your full-time job? I.e. consulting, writing, designing, etc. I'm curious how much more income it brings you annually and if you think it's worth it in relation to the extra time you'd have if you weren't doing it? I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of taking on a consulting gig that would be 7-10 hours a week, and about $22-25k a year, paid out on a monthly retainer.

Deloitte layoffs still happening. What the heck?

I have had an opportunity presented to me to make a switch from the underwriting desk to the agency side as a producer. To my surprise the base pay is equal, however the producer obviously has new and renewal commissions. Am I nuts to leave my strict 40 hour weeks behind for a chance in the sales world? Anyone else make the switch for better or for worse?

Looking for non-fiction book recommendations - doesn't have to be finance related. The last ones I read and really enjoyed were Misbehaving by Richard Thaler and Gene by Siddhartha Mukherjee.
