You should be spending most of your time studying prior deal docs and preparing specific questions to ask
Find precedent docs on the system and Practical law (with drafting notes). Also, ChatGPT has been largely good if you ask it narrow/on point things to draft as a starting point.
Listen to the partners and senior attorneys and ask a lot of questions. If you can find a partner or senior attorney to befriend, it gives you a great resource. You are super green so don’t beat yourself up for not being an expert. It takes time. I have been doing transactional work for years and still learn new things and come across new situations all the time.
Why aren’t you getting this from your colleagues already? You need to fix that if you are going to thrive at your job
