I worked as a CSR for a company that dealt with wires and other types of money transfers. I do remember a case where this poor client tried to get this done. She called in to the call center 25 times and every time she called she was given 25 different answers about the wire request to see if it was done or not done. To me that is a crazy customer service case.

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

Once when I was waiting tables, I had a guy pay me cash. The change was 45 cents, which I didn't give back to him because like who wants that. He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. He was a republican staffer on capitol hill.

At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me. Obviously, he finally let it go but I scan it with an inventory scanner that showed me all of the sale price promotions if there were any

I had customers tell me how amazing the salads I make for them. It’s great that I can make salads that good!

Someone came in and ordered 60 bacon double cheeseburgers… my crew thought I was kidding. 😅
