I'd love to be saving for my kids' future education, but costs for pretty much everything are still sky high.

Pupper didn't like the wind

Guys, my friend had her last working day last week and she thinks she forgot to fill her timesheet for her last 2 days before handing over the laptop. What can be the consequences of this? She is really worried about this
P.S she belongs to a back end team serving the firm internally charging time on only one code.

Still? We won't have deflation. Sky high will only improve if you increase your income. That's the only way you beat inflation, especially after the insane inflation we've had the past few years.
Sure, the fanciest daycares are more expensive than the cheapest colleges. It’s common to see daycares below $20k and colleges at $70k. But it’s like saying that mansions in Bangladesh are cheaper that studio apartments in New York City.
I’d love to see all childcare expenses be tax deductible or the limits to Dependent Care Flex Account tripled and applied per dependent rather than per family.
Yeah not sure how you can save for children's education, etc. when expenses are so high alone. Most people don't have a ton of extra money lying around right now!
We always told family and friends to contribute to our daughters 529 rather than give gifts. Especially for Christmas and birthdays under 3 years old. They didn’t listen much haha. But we ended up getting an extra $500 in her 529 that way. It’s not much but 15+ years of growth, maybe it’ll get her a couple books 😂
