You already submitted the receipts and it would be decent of them to reimburse you as they represented they would. But if they don’t, i personally wouldn’t chase them for it

What was the reason for declining? Did it have anything to do with them or terms they offered that were unfair or impractical to you (like pay too low for this costly commuting cost, a toxic work environment or conflicts with ethics rules) or was the offer fair and reasonable but you got offered something else that was better? I think I'd pursue it if the reason for declining was too little pay for the commute or something that would have made taking the offer impossible from a mental health, scheduling or keeping your law license in good standing perspective. If it was just getting some better offer elsewhere, I'd leave it alone.
The commute and low pay were both factors, as well as general potential red flags that I noticed during the interview process. I also did get another offer that I considered overall better (and they knew about it). I didn’t explain my reasoning and they didn’t ask, though it’s likely they will assume I took the other offer.
