Next time be more precise so you don’t have this uncertainty. Either say “I’ll have it to you by noon on Monday” or ask, “when do you need this?”

I think I would send an email now saying “FYI I’ve been plugging away and think I can get this to you by ___ am/pm on [day]. Let me know if you have questions. Hope you’re having a good weekend.” Then beat the deadline by 30 minutes. That is, give yourself a short margin that allows you to exceed expectations.
Just think of what would that person expect. If it’s something that needs to be reviewed, even if it’s to be sent across on Tuesday or Wednesday, that person certainly works on many things and would appreciate getting that thing as early as possible. If it’s part of a very long project, depends on what that person needs to do. But imo it’s always better to stick to your promise. Try to guess what would that person need to do after receiving your draft/who else needs to review it/how urgent that matter is.

Maybe this is too ambiguous without context. Lol
