What rank are you and how much are you making
Coach
Downgrading my career. I went to RSM and then a non/top 20 were both mistakes. Public accountants still work like dogs. Just stay until senior, suffer for 1 more year and go private
Happy to have a chat if you are interested in opportunities at Clearsulting
If you’re still liking client service, there are plenty of consulting firms that probably pay better and provide more variety of work. Stout, Embark, Clearsulting, Cross Country, Embark, etc.
Really? I didn’t interview with them. What is it?
Are you currently earning 6 digits? What is your current position? There are medium-sized, well-performing firms that offer higher salary rates. Coming from the big 4, you might have a good chance of easily getting a slot.
I don't see it as downgrading if it improves my quality of life tbh...but just haven't found that yet so I'm slogging in this role
That's a complicated situation. Are you earning 6 digits? If so, you'll have a hard time finding a job with the same pay.
Hi! It's not gonna be easy for sure. Keeping the same amount of money is already difficult.
I went to RSM from EY. Was a major mistake. My director wanted BIG 4 quality with half the resources/ budget. If went lower to small boutique firm and am getting paid the most of the 3 and have the best work-life balance / treatment from the team. I make much more here than I did at EY/RSM
