If I'm on LinkedIn and I ask to be connected to someone in a particular high position at a vc, could I consider that given they understand I'm a startup. That they are interested and just waiting for me to ask to present a pitch or proposal to them or the firm? I had many from the firm look over my LinkedIn profile and when I asked to connect they did.

The bgv team is now asking for bank statement and offer letter .
