I have a total of 5.5 years of experience with current CTC as 11.5 lpa.
I have a offer from Infosys of 17 lpa
But my company wants to retain me and they are giving me an opportunity for Canada onsite in return of retention(no raise or bonus)
Please suggest me, if i should take the onsite opportunity or keep looking for counter on my current offer.
I have 70 days of Notice Period left.

$200/hr is $400k a year. i doubt you’ll get that. i would ask for $180/hr. not sure what is actually realistic - hopefully you can get $160/hr.
This doesn’t feel like a difficult math problem..
Make sure to consider all the out of pocket costs (health, no 401k, etc.)
SM level
180 is effectively 90/hr without benefits. An organization I used to work with used to use 21.6% as estimate for benefits. That should cover your extras.
90/hr +20%=108/hr (Effectively 216k/yr)
90/hr +25% =112.5/hr. (Effectively 225k/yr)
Doing hourly without benefits they should expect paying some premium. If you are going through a staffing firm expect them to toss on 35+ percent margin which you never see.
SC 1 Good point that most contract positions aren't leading to a FTE role and assume more risk than try to buy situation. Also they wouldn't know your salary requirements for comparison.
