You can tip what ever you want
I know. And I tip what is customary at least as people work for and expect it. Not because I love every server I get. But customary needs to change
This ill conceived policy will hurt more people than it helps. Regardless, do OF tips received come under this tax exemption?
EY 6. Only Farmers. Similar to farmers only .com. But different.
Chief
We are reclassifying bonuses as gratuity
The tax code has lot of ridiculous stuff in it. It's so big at this point I'm not really to worried about this. And yes it will be gamed somehow.
Rising Star
We should just get rid of tip wages and get rid of tipping all together. I hate that everywhere asks for tipping now and they look offended when I don’t want to tip someone making more than minimum wage. Servers don’t make much and rely on it and they are the only ones that should be getting it until they get paid fairly from their own employers.
At high-end restaurant servers make well into six figures
We could just pay service workers a living wage.
We’re dropping no tip to no tip
Preach bro/sis
Not like most people claim all their tips anyways
Most tips are paid using credit cards so would have shown up on your W-2 automatically. No one ever claimed tips being paid in cash to begin with.
When you select the tip option, the 3 options are now going to be 28%, 30%, and 33%. Inflation is real gents
The chip percentage should never be increased and I agree if these people are now gonna get it all tax-free I’m going back to 15%
Can we add a gratuity line in the SoW?
The amount of tip requests is about jump. Can I add it to my corporate signature?
We’re not a typical tip receiving occupation. So no
I agree.
That’s fair
It's not passing
No
Tax law is… smh
It’s going to be limited to the hospitality industry. With AGI limits and limits on the amount you can exclude.
But is this even realistic everything he said
Still paying my 20%. I only go out or use delivery app 4times each month so basically once a week. I think that’s fair. See like most people go out a lot.
