If there’s a call that involves trespassers (lost in the woods and went to someone’s property) and in the mix is a 10 year old kid. The caller called their grandson from another county, while off duty and got there before the actual county’s deputies due to him being nearby. He rolls up, gun drawn and pointed at everyone including the 10 year old kid. Is there any repercussions that can happen to the off duty deputy? Even the responding deputies told him to chill out.

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?
