The used one, as the depreciation on the new car will leave you with an automatic 10-15k loss

Especially with Teslas… they depreciate like anchors…
The 2026 has more improvements.
Lease the new one. You’ll probably end up paying close to the same in payments. The good thing about leasing is that you won’t have to deal with the craziness of paying for repairs out of warranty.
Go look at the used one. We have a 2023 Model Y and we like it. It’s a good deal at 33K but definitely not worth 54K.
That being said, some people abuse their teslas and it really shows, especially on the paint and rims. Does the 2024 come with any sort of warranty?
As evidenced by your post, EVs depreciate like crazy which is a good opportunity.
24’ no question.
The depreciation on EVs is INSANE!
So many of my friends have crashed theirs resulting in even higher insurance. Besides being a pest on the road causing worsening traffic, have you considered another car? If you are set on a tesla, the used is better. The accident rates are so high, good to be conservative.
