If you could redesign your career path, what would you change? I think I would’ve trusted my gut a lot more instead of staying in roles that felt “fine” but weren’t truly fulfilling. I probably would’ve left certain jobs sooner, been more honest about what I actually wanted, and worried less about disappointing other people. What would you do differently?

I have been in client facing wealth management as an advisor for 10 years. I haven’t built a book of business because I’ve worked for mostly discount brokers (Merrill edge, TDA, Etrade). I want to know how to transition to a non client facing role in wealth management or another financial role. I am series 7 and series 66 licensed. Any thoughts?

Hi everyone! I’ve been a Retirement Representative for two years, with a HS Diploma. I am having a hard time being able to grow in the company, along with other gripes I’d rather not go into. What jobs in finance can I apply for without a college degree as long as I’m willing to get the required licensure? (That I would have a shot at getting hired).

Currently work in a very unique Wealth Management ops role.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?

Any recruiters or others here know of some remote jobs in finance or banking? I have 10+ years experience in both banking and leadership. Thanks for your help!
