Hi Fishes, Currently I am working in Kolkata for past 3 years. I am not a fan of the humid weather in Kolkata. Whenever I go out, its sweaty.. I have an opportunity to shift my workplace to Hyderabad. I want to know about Hyderabad weather month wise..
Weather is only the deciding factor to move. Anyone who has lived in both the cities for more than a year.. Cognizant Tata Consultancy Capgemini IBM Infosys

As long as it doesn't affect lifestyle it shouldn't matter too much, for example if you are able to do the things you love, like travelling or going to nice places to eat.
Then it should be all good.
Then my next question to follow up on what you asked is.
Is it a matter of career change,or factors such as aging?
(The reason I put aging is because some jobs are physically demanding and to be realistic require younger workers).
Interesting topic you have chosen 🤔
Haha I think right now I barely afford the things I love as it is (city living ugh). I suppose if I could take a pay cut and still afford travel and food I would
I’m in the U.K., and at my current salary I fall into the “tax trap” where I’m effectively taxed at 60%. Realistically I could drop $50k and my quality of life wouldn’t see much impact (I’d just put less into my pension).
So if I had an opportunity for something I really truly cared about, I’d happily take that cut. But I don’t, so I’ll keep slogging away for now.
That’s wild I need to research the UK tax system more. But sounds like the trade off is pretty good! Maybe you will find that spark soon!
If you had one shot, or one opportunity…
Lolol
That is very fortunate for you, potentially you could create a side hustle to do what you are passionate about, for example if you enjoy playing golf or something you could start by maybe teaching what you are good at. Build a client base and possibly grow a venture?
Im not sure how much free time you would have if you earn high tax bracket as I am sure your work must be very time consuming, but if you have any hobbies try make a hustle from it?
Since you enjoy making money from everything you do.
I normally call people like that "turn everything they touch into gold"
I wish I could have a side hustle tho! Sounds interesting
I would take a 50% pay cut. I could afford more but eventually I would miss the extra money. Oh and it is because I am Gen X and have no kids.

It depends. I'm married with a couple of toddlers so the paycheck and stability are a priority now. I did leave an agency to go internal at a Fortune 500 a few years ago to be home more and took a pay cut and step back in title. The pace is slow, the rewards are minimal, the career advancement opportunities are few and far in between.
Once the kids are in school I'll probably start looking for a more rewarding job. But in the end, I'm more focused on financial independence than a job I'm passionate about. Dabbling with some freelancing, blogging and creating a web app. Any tips on side hustles?
I can’t afford to be passionate. I don’t know what my dream would be but I know it doesn’t pay anything. I have to earn a paycheck.

After being laid off as a CD/CW, I took a 20% cut to break into my first UX design job.
