Are any consulting case books on Amazon worth it, and if so which are they?

I am a strategy consulting enthusiast from a middle class family. Don't have the financial stability to take a loan for an MBA and hence had to drop some renouned admits this year ( Think top IIM's) due to family circumstances. I still dream big and request you to provide some insights for my research:-
1) Average expected package of an associate
2) Average experience expected at ZS to get hired at associate level
3) Good books to upskill and ace the consulting case interviews

You mentioned ATK being a leader in Ops Consulting. What books / white papers / magazines can one read to build such competency (for a newcomer) or to refresh one's know how (a vet in the space)? Tks!

Hi, I am going through a few books on consulting and one thing which seems to be given a lot of importance is market sizing. What is the importance of this? It seems to me that unless it is a new product; existing competitors, long term contracts, monopolies etc would make this result unreliable at best and misleading. 26 yrs old, been in consulting since finishing undergrad. Worried that I haven't narrowed my focus or found a niche to be specifically great at. Every project has been completely different... And I am constantly reading books to get smart on every other topic. My guess is this is all too common in consulting.

At what point can an art director who’s tasked with a lot of design work draw the line?

I love what I do. But I just want Administration to have our backs. Last semester I had 4-5 unruly students I begged and pleaded for them to get them out of my class. They did nothing for the whole semester. I told the school board I refuse to teach at that school with that administration there.
