My husband used ai to help him prep for his job interview this week. He got the job.

Congratulations to him.
There is so much that a person can learn using AI although AI is not going to be 100% all the time.
I, also, used AI more last week to research companies, get help on applications, and learned a bit more about the recruiting process.

AI can definitely be a useful tool if it’s used the right way. It can help with things like structuring CVs, preparing for interviews, or researching companies. The key is using it as support while still keeping your own voice and experience at the centre of it.
Chief
That is so true it is only for support.
If a person is truly flexible and adaptable, they will learn how to use AI and not fear it.
Chief
While AI might not be 100% it can give you that extra assistance.
The Operations Manager of my phone screen on Wednesday emailed me on Monday to schedule today's face to face meeting.
I hate to say it but I never think about AI. To me, it feels so fake and impersonal. If I'm talking to somebody and I found out they used AI to plan or write their correspondence, I find it a little bit frustrating. I understand it's the way of the future, but I don't have to like it.
Chief
No one said you had to like it although it is a tool which like everything else does have its' pros and cons.

I have been using AI a lot more lately. The only reason I had not in the past is trust issues. However now I feel that I will go with the flow, so I can find a job.

@FTCG1, AI is but a tool to help us although you can use it to try help improve your resume and I have also started to use Copilot in helping me prepare for interviews, help me decide if a posting actually is something I am qualified for, and also to help draft professional letters including thank you notes.
I actually shocked the hiring manager yesterday when I told her that by using AI I found out she was from Iran and then went to the UAE before coming to the US to work.
