Anyone at Google, to possibly speaking with me. I found a position I believe I am a good match for and was looking for feedback.
I am a contractor with a consulting firm, I applied for a permanent position but HR gave me a different designation than requested, called me and said I should be happy I’m not contractor anymore. Told them I reject the offer , I want what I want else I’ll remain a contractor. Did I do the right thing ? I am tired of being pushed around and treated like crap just because I am a POC and a contractor
I just got fired from job as an Account executive at a company for not performing well enough after 3 months (Even though we are still in middle of pandemic in NYC).I want to get into SaaS sales soon. Does anyone have any advice on what do next? where I can find a good company that will invest in my growth & training? Or jobs for sales people that are flexible and have good work-life balance? Want to weigh my options before I jump in the next opportunity
Back in college I would think having a job is chill and great because there’s no pressure to get good grades. Now I’m on the job there’s constant anxiety about performance reviews every project. Is there an end to this anxiety? I’m so done with this shit
What is the day in life of a Solution Architect at Salesforce? Do they do the requirements gathering and management or there is a BA on the implementation team to do that and SA focuses on design?
A little embarrassed not to know the answer to this question I’m about to ask regarding candidates and current salary... can a recruiter in MA ask a candidate in Arkansas (for example) where they do not have a ban” on salary history questions- ask that candidate their current comp? I never ask current comp - no matter where the candidate is located - always approach the question as desired comp range-but a situation has come up where it MIGHT be helpful to have if the candidate feels comfortable
Classic awkward need to address body oder in the workplace. We have truck drivers who share trucks and the other drivers at the point of wanting to leave. We’ve already talked once this employee but nothing has changed. How far can we go? Write-up? Eventual termination if there is a refusal to shower? We do not have specific policies on hygiene.
When's the latest a flight can take off from JFK (or similar airport)? Currently delayed to 12:50am. Isn't 1am cutoff until 5am?
Has anyone gone to get a facial, eyebrow shaping, botox, other services that require close face to face contact and even removal of mask? How was it? Looking like a hot mess here.
Fellow PwC fish... Anyone have an idea about salary bands for SM and D in IFS and can you share the same here?
Does anyone have any study tips or can suggest a helpful study tool for the HRCI SPHR exam? I used BenchPrepHR to help me prep and took a few practice test. I took my exam last week and unfortunately did not pass. Any tips would be helpful to help me prepare to retake in a few months.
Moving from tech consulting to industry. Starting salary negotiations next week. Do industry jobs typically offer sign on bonuses, or just salary and yearly bonuses? Manager level position being offered.
Ill get promoted to senior this year, but I need out now I can't do this any more. Will I make substantially more if I wait for the promo and leave two months later or should I just bail
What to do if you are being offered a promotion in title but the pay needs to be “approved”? Can you negotiate and get retroactive pay? (Internal promotion)
