If you’re responding to an RFP, traditional best practices say to build your doc at 8 1/2x11 for easy printing, carrying and legibility. But now is 1080x1920 the go to because less recipients are actually printing? What is your go-to format for a digitally submitted RFP response?

While Indian consulting folks supporting the US folks do the bulk of the analysis, churning out the data and making the ppts, all the US folks do is attend meetings. Most of know basics of neither Alteryx, Power BI nor Tableau, while everyone in India is expected to know all the three. Most of the times we are expected to work till their afternoon (our Midnight)

PS: Also let me know if it's not the case in your BIG 4 company, I will gladly join it 😉

When a project is taking longer because of client delays, what have you done to motivate them back on track so the agency isn’t burning hrs/money waiting on decisions? Looking for contract details, conversation motivators, money/percentage threats, recommend moving to hourly after a certain time etc. any advice welcome.

Looking for a freelance account exec for a possible 6 month gig. Car experience a must, 10+yrs a must, strong agency experience & references a must. Please connect or sends names of those you’d hire!

Who in the agency would you say has the ultimate responsibility to come up with the agency’s pricing & services model? Biz Dev? Finance? Ops? Project Management? Other? (Context: we have an ongoing issue where a biz dev / accounts person will eagerly be coming up with half-baked solutions for a prospective client, and it always feels like a cluster F when they want to know what resources, budget, and time we need in order to execute said service - which they thought of in the first place!)

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some resources that can help me to determine my pricing and business model for a new agency. Does anyone have suggestions?

Hi All. Looking for thoughts on vertical expertise and whether it’s just a good sales tool or whether anyone has considered structuring the company in this format because it drives stronger work? I’ve always been fairly anti vertical because I think it stifles ideas and thinking, but you can always have people that specialize that you pull in when having bespoke industry knowledge can help. What do others think? Do clients want this from their partners?

How do you explain the size of your agency to clients who ask?
Number of staff? Who your clients are? Revenue figures?

When building a new brand who is the real client? Who has the final say?Who should you really listen to if no one is taking the lead? The president of the company, the original owner, the financial money partner, the third party manager? Everyone seems to have a voice but the main contact is the underling gathering and offering their own opinion which strangely seems to be the most on point. How do you handle this type of situation?

I get an email or a LinkedIn post from a company that promises to fill my pipeline with leads probably three times a week. I’m wondering if anyone has used one of these services and can provide a recommendation? I have a pretty narrow niche and have figured out what my ideal client looks like, so I assume that these services will fill my inbox, but with leads that are not quite right. Anyone have a good experience?

How do you determine equity amount for key employees or strategic hires? Is there an ideal way to do the math that is fair?

I just started an agency with a strategy partner. We are looking for good examples of small agencies that are positioning themselves around strategy, brand, and advertising capabilities in clear and interesting ways. Who’s standing out and doing it right?
