Does your school partner with companies? I have hired highschool students through the local school's program. Unfamiliar with that test. Data Entry tends to be your typing skills and attention to detail. Be pleasant, respectful, eager to learn and punctual, someone will give you a shot.

These will be your best bet.

I’ve never heard of the test either, so I don’t think it pulls much weight. Work within your school to see if they have a program or start reaching out to people you know. At this phase an unpaid internship for a few months could be enough for you to get some recommendations for when you do apply to something
I haven’t heard of the test either. But my advice is … the only industry hiring and will be for a long time is healthcare. There are a million non-clinical jobs at a healthcare system. See if you can apply for a unit secretary job. Or administrative job or intern in Supply Chain or Materials Management.
Connect with the CFO and supply chain leaders by LinkedIn and ask for an informational interview. Say you are a high school student and want to learn more about the supply chain. $10 they say yes. Then use ChatGPT to come up with 3-5 questions. I can help with that if you want. One question should be “im interested in a data entry job but wonder how AI will impact that. Can you tell me about how AI is changing the way you contract and buy products?”
Trust me most of them are still in the stone ages and need data entry help in procurement (fixing purchase orders). Long term you may find it interesting and eventually want to go into the supply chain.
Good luck and really awesome to hear about someone young and starting out. 🍀🍀🍀🍀
thank you! i'm not very sure how linkedin works so i've got to take a look at it, but i'll try doing everything you said
How’s your typing? How’s your attention to detail? How’s your reading comprehension?
Your chances for this type of job may be good depending on these types of basic skills.
Do you know where you would like to apply? Are local businesses hiring for this type of work? Can your school help you with hiring in the local community?
Good luck to you.
I can confidently type between 80- 100 WPM; attention to detail is subjective. I'm good at reading; I've emailed a few local places so far, I'm just going to keep trying. Thanks

Very likely but only if you scored an 84% or above on the ASK

I counter with a test you would pass with flying colors

An 83% is the top 10%? Huh.

You guys are supposed to be smart, right? So just like the GRE, GMAT or LSAT, the percent of the test you got correct does not correlate to where you rank among other test takers. So, for you snarking OP, they got 83% of the questions correct and that gave them a score in the 90th percentile of all test takers in the US.
I’ve never heard of this test. Have you checked indeed? Or spoken with parents friends for unpaid internships

Lol. Watch those typos
