Black women made the career switch from corporate America to entrepreneurship during Covid-19. While it appears entrepreneurship was deemed a necessity, Black women were the largest group of new business owners closely followed by Latina women. These businesses have high growth potential but why is access to finding still a barrier?

Comic-Con always makes for great people watching downtown. You should go to Balboa Park, the farmer’s market happening from 8 am -2pm today in Hillcrest, head out to Point Loma and check out the tide pools, stop by the Scripps Aquarium to see the blue penguins, eat all the fish tacos you can find, and go to the Belly Up Tavern for some live music.
Omg!! I so love San Diego!! Try In-And-Out hamburger place, go downtown and try Karl Strauss restaurant. They have the best tiramisu and beers. A Florida baseball team was playing there the last time I was there which was last month. Can’t remember their names. Have fun!!
Agree with everything Consultant 1 said. I would add checking out Old Town for the history and the fantastic Mexican food. If you go to Scripps Aquarium, maybe go through La Jolla on your way. Have lunch on Prospect at Cody’s or upstairs at George’s, and then walk down the hill (it’s a short walk) to see the seals (don’t get close to them) and visit The Cave. Have fun!
Comic-con will be over by the time you arrive (if it's actually the evening). I don't recommend downtown unless it's for a baseball game! You should definitely go to the La Jolla Cove. It's beautiful, great (though expensive) restaurants, and some fun animals. Speaking of which, the San Diego Zoo is something you can never go wrong with :)
I believe the Del Mar horse race season just started, but they only do Thursday through Sunday afternoon.... Something to think about for next time.
Finally, Carlsbad village is super fun for the beach, outdoor activities, restaurants, shopping, etc. Old town is great for historic sites. And if you're a foodie, definitely check out North Park or Encinitas!

Lol, understood. I didn’t know about the platypuses. Weird that my mind would go there 😂.
Coronado is just a historic hotel with a nice beach. Not worth an Uber…
