I’m a 3rd grade SDC teacher on an emergency credential — had never stepped foot in a classroom before last Tuesday. Can anyone offer advice/resources for lesson plan development? Help!

My boyfriend and I are planning to go back to the city from our respective parents’ homes. His dad has had to go into the office for work, so he’s had someone traveling back and forth where he’s been (essential worker, not medical). Whereas I’ve been home and my mom has only gone back and forth to the grocery store. Is it okay for us to go back and quarantine together or should he quarantine for 2 weeks before we meet up since he’s had someone who’s been going to the office for work?

My husband heard me after a review with my CD and said “I don’t think you should act all happy and great with his feedback, it just sounds fake. You should just be able to be yourself” for a bit of background, my CD is a guy who needs things done his way. He likes when people laugh at his jokes and act super excited over everything and take feedback with a smile and shut mouth. Has anyone else had their SO who doesnt work in the industry take notice to some of the things we must do for our boss?

Hi, if you laid off an employee and 6 months later you rehire that employee back, do you have them go through a drug test and background check all over again? I also am aware it may vary each state, so with this manner this employee is in the state of PA. Thank you in advance.
