Don't stress, I also actively try to lower the burden for client requests, translating what is asked for into what is actually needed. Especially when team members request the same things (balance sheets, user lists, etc) multiple times haha. Your clients will love you, and it will bode well for you (as long as you get what's needed to finish the work of course)
It’s not a bad thing to sympathize. It’ll actually work in your favor.
But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t obtain what’s important.

It's not always a bad thing. You can learn so much over time and that includes how to compartmentalize your emotions. Don't be too hard on yourself.
