Hi Fishes, I have received an offer from Barclays for AVP position. But the role discussed during interview was for Tech Delivery Manager whereas the offer letter mentions it as Tech Delivery Lead. Can you guys please suggest if it is the same role or should I request recruiter to get the role updated? Moreover it would be great if any of you can shed some light on the prospects/challenges of this role based on your experiences. Barclays Barclays global service center

I don’t think many people have problem with deer hunting if you keep the meat and use it. People mostly have issues with sport hunting which you see many wealthy do in Africa. Even all the people I know who hunt feel exactly the above
Meat eating is unethical no matter how many mental gymnastics you run through your head. At least you'll look the animal in the eye and kill it before you eat it unlike most spineless cowards. Hopefully you're not one of those spineless cowards who kills it and pays someone else to butcher the animal.

Hey 1. Look up what axis deer are doing to the ecology of some of the Hawaiian islands. Would be interested to hear your take on if hunting and eating is ok in that case.
Why are you lying about hunting? Unless your hunting people, which has been much more common in the USA as of the late.
Lots of people hunt where I live. It’s kind of a no brained that people hunt.
Uh what? Unless hunter of people or hunter is code for something you share it if you want. You’re overthinking this.
Why not lie/hide about it? I party non stop every weekend, and color over the truth every week lol. Just say you went upstate
I think this depends on where you live. I grew up in the Deep South in a family that was an outlier for not hunting. I now live in the west and run into a lot of people who hunt elk, pronghorn, etc. I hear about it enough I doubt many people try to hide it, but maybe just kinda monitor the temp of the room when you bring it up. I once offered a couple I’m friends with free zoo tickets and the girlfriend did a quick rundown of why she doesn’t support zoos so I never brought it up again. We’re still friends.
If they also hunt, I would nerd out and fill them in. If not, I would say I spent the weekends in the woods or something. Depends on if they’d react like T1 or not lmao
Lots of people I know are anti hunting. But I’m in California…I also have friends who do hunt & have shared their butchered & dressed meat with me (love deer sausage btw). I wouldn’t necessarily not say anything if asked a direct question. But it depends on who’s asking.
