I got an interview for Contract - Audit Manager (Remote) role for EY. Are the interviews done remotely or does EY require interviewees to come into the office for interviews?
Just trying to manage my plan as I am currently traveling and the interview came up as an unexpected opportunity.
Thank you!

You only have young kids once. There will be more opportunities to continue to climb the ladder as they get older.
Any demanding job will drain your energy and you'll have less for yourself and your kids. That's just the honest truth.
Interested in this perspective too. Kids are 10 and 7 and worried I’ll either not have the energy or not have the bullsh*t tolerance
If the money is sufficient hire the help you need for the tasks that you can delegate and focus ur energy on the quality time with your kids. In other words tasks that drain your energy and test your patience (helping with homework, cleaning up, drop off and picks up, etc) and make your tasks better meals together, outings, supporting at sports games, etc). The end result is you may be making more but saving less and you would still have hiven yourself the career you want but in the long run once kids are grown you will thank yourself for it.
I am in a CoS role and have hard boundaries to keep family time protected and make it a priority to show up for my kids at school events. That being said I probably pick up work a couple nights a week after the kids go to bed. There are occasional weeks when it is fully draining especially in high conflict / stakeholder mgmt situations. My spouse is very supportive and we have a full time nanny who handles a lot around the house.
My position is mostly in person which is my preference. $400+ TC
Do you have an offer you are considering? If so, can you share details on role, type of company, comp and whether remote or in person?
