I understand what you're saying, but it sounds like you'll need to sacrifice what you want for what you need right now. If you can get a visa sponsorship in a position that isn't aligned with your interests, I would take it while networking and finding the role that will fulfill you. But until then, take what you can get to get what you need: sponsorship.
Agreed. Might be very hard to get both IP and sponsorship right out of the gate (certainly apply and try tho!). If you can get a sponsored job take it and then use your “5-9” crafting your life, networking, and skills to get the killer IP joke as your next job
Holy run-on sentence, Batman!
Maybe talk to some recruiters. And also applying IP roles yourself. Not sure if there are that many roles out there can offer sponsorship though
I would talk to your school's career services department and network like crazy.
You haven't included your location or even what law school you'reattending, so it's really difficult to help connect you to positions that fulfill your requirements.
Roles that require sponsorship seem to be hard to find right now. I would really be focused on networking and trying to get a referral. That may help you get your foot in the door somewhere.
