I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..

The Major Players Salary Survey is usually pretty accurate - you can download the 2023 one here: https://www.majorplayers.co.uk/the-creative-industries-census?source=google.com
Go to the interview, talk and check the salary. Go back to your agency and check with them. Do you want to stay at the actual agency? The new one is better? Which work is better? How much u are making as Mid? Senior Brackets depends of the agency style too.
Senior level requires more responsibility.
And if you are not happy with the salary they offer, negotiate or reject it. Because all agencies want cheaper resources for every level.
Senior has the biggest range as it’s a role and bracket that many people move up and down to. Whether that’s perm or freelance.
There are senior creatives who have buckets of awards and experience who don’t want to be CDs that command £100k+ salaries. Headhunters are getting more of these briefs at the moment as CCO’s desperately need these types of creatives.
The very top of mid weight tends to be £55k-£60k. So Senior should start above that.
ACD tends to be £90k-£100k.
So £60k-£90k is your sweet spot.
I have always been at my current agency. Work-wise they are similar, the other is slightly stronger, I think...
Maybe because I don't know any better, I like where I am. I think I've been given a chance at good briefs as a junior that inevitably have helped me excel. I feel grateful for that. But benefits and/or salary boosts here are few and far between.
On a side note, I think I've gained a small bitterness recently hearing of a junior hire with no experience and regular student book receiving a starting salary close to my current. It cut.
