Onity Group offered me Assistant Manager, Data Engineer at 27 LPA fixed plus a 1L joining bonus without negotiation.
This makes me think their budget is higher.
I also have a 34 LPA offer (31 + 10% variable).
Should I counter Onity to match 34 LPA, and how?
I prefer joining Onity and don’t want to lose the opportunity.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. I have cleared three round of interviews in VMware for a business analyst position. One primary screening and two technical rounds. One more round is scheduled for further discussion. So is it a technical round or not. Also how many rounds are there going to happen.

I got selected in LTI, the offered CTC is less than my current CTC, HR says they have budget constraints.

They were aware about my current CTC right from the first call.

I also shared the counter offer that I'm holding. (Offered CTC > Current CTC)
Switch won't make sense if I don't get the basic hike.
