Did she provide any feedback or insight as to why she made that decision?
Not really. She just said that based on my experience she felt like I was more mid-level than senior, even though I already have the senior title within the company. As I wrote, she hadn’t even seen my resume before the interview and although she asked me situational questions, we didn’t get very deep in the projects I’ve managed. All the questions were very theoretical… is this a normal practice? I can understand the market challenging my title but within my own company? Doing a downgrade? It seemed weird to me

Feel free to dm directly. Are you a senior PM right now? Is the salary range for your current role and this senior role that different?
Is the scope level work vastly different between the roles? For example you currently do tier 3 $5 million dollar projects and her senior pm role is usually the highest tiered projects and over $20 million?
Sounds like a red flag
