I’m applying for a position within my company. They skipped the HR screening interview and sent me directly to the hiring manager, who hadn’t even read (or had) my CV and at the end of the interview said that if I were successful in this process she wouldn’t hire me as a senior pm (although that’s what the job posting was for). So the proposal is to hire me at mid-level PM, with a salary increase with a promise to review the title and giving me another raise in 6-12 months. Red flag? Thoughts?

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly).
