Not your call and not your problem
Kirkland is wild for this one too
A problem? In what way?
Litigation is always new and you’re always learning. Try and get practical experience outside of doc review as much as possible but won’t be a problem as long as you’re driven and attempting to improve and learn.
I still don’t see a “problem.” From who? Partners no. Clients? Perhaps but not your fault unless they are yours. You? No you’re getting paid.
If clients are paying and you are getting staffed and doing good work then not a problem at all. You’re getting paid and your revenue/collections should look great.
Could there be more efficiency? Sure. Same as every other firm. But that’s not a “problem.”
At some level it may become the originating partner and firm’s problem if that becomes an issue but not certainly one that I see you’re responsible for since you have no control over it.

Is this commercial lit or ID?
That’s what I was thinking. Sure sounds like ID
I suspect it's not an issue, but if it is, the market will give you that answer.
As long as your rate is given up front in the client agreement and the client is agreeing to pay, there's no problem.
