I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

IMO...there are a few things to take into consideration; for certain, your location, family and current health should be considered (there is location bias, and they certainly don't care about your family or health).
Maybe it wasn't always this way, but the current environment is very toxic, and the "brand power" is not what it used to be; in some cases it's actually held against you in today's market.
Yes, you can "set boundaries"; this is the shortest path to learning the terms focus/pivot.

Take it! Dont listen to other people. Buronout depends on you as well, on how well you can cope under stress! Even if you work for 1 or 2 years, it will set your profile above a lot of people.

Yes, I personally know people who got laid off by Amazon but are doing way better and got into other relatively very quickly!
It's a great experience to have on your resume, even if you don't stick around for long. You also don't have to accept burnout as being part of the process. Set your boundaries and stick to them. I would take the job.

Brand power is real, but so is burnout. I would assess your risk tolerance and current energy reserves. If you go, treat it as a defined chapter with a learning goal, not an indefinite commitment.
