Nothing less than $2M
Isn’t it lower considering the pandemic risk ? I wouldn’t settle for anything below 2.5m
Don’t forget industry will be maybe 2% annual raise and maybe 10% bonus (although any job today will be great). And no training like at the firm and not as many resources globally for support ... I sound like I’m still at pwc helping a colleague. But happy to help anyway (if this helps?)
Just curious because I’m in a similar position, do you feel that your experience as a DA makes you fit for a tax technology manager role at another company? Or do have other non-DA experience?
Fair point! 2.5 M is very fair
Assuming you are in a mid COL city, I would expect 5 years experience and a manager title to get you in the 100-115 range. High COL cities that would be higher, low COL areas it might only net you 85-95.
This is what I would expect as well.
At PwC in southwest, first year manager is around $92K-$100K
I see the area really plays a big part... I know a new manager with 150K in northeast

Market? (Also, please don’t leave! 😂)

Probably about 100 for a new manager.
Location matters a lot. If it’s a HCOL area 140-150 is totally reasonable.
If you are joining D, definitely ask for more. I’ve heard first year Seniors offered 6figure
In HCOL area should be around 140-150 minimum. Would also push for a signing bonus.
