Happy new year everyone👍🏼
Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?
Looking for push gift suggestions.

I was on the same boat before Covid so I decided to look for a new job. I suggest that you spend some time networking on LinkedIn and applying to new jobs while you are on PTO.
I am sorry to hear what you are going through. Be kind to yourself and try to do things that bring you joy during work. For example, go for a walk during your lunch break, read a book, meditate, etc. I highly recommend the book, “Focus on What Matters.” It will help you look at things and life overall in a different way.
Sorry to hear about your situation.
I agree with the previous comment (that is some great advice)
Please stay strong, take short breaks when possible. It not only helps your physical and mental health, but also keeps you in a better position to support your family.
Regarding job change, here are my thoughts :
1. Please apply for jobs which allow remote work. You never know, you may get a full-remote opportunity with a better pay.
Trying and failing is lot better than not trying at all.
2. If you’re switching job, make sure that you don’t have a break in health insurance coverage for you and your family. This is very important.
3. LinkedIn networking does wonders. Please network with professionals in your line of work and drop a message to your contacts asking them if they can help refer you to a remote work opportunity. Do not hesitate to send connection requests.
Wish you all the best. Remember, this too shall pass.
Apply for FMLA and you should be able to utilize PTO for that time if applicable. I am currently leaving my posted company for something way better. Don’t let them people cost you your health. My blood pressure was up extremely due to work and stress. I stress no more and enjoy my time to myself. I hope your child surgery goes well. Understand people have money for a quality employee
I'm sorry to hear about your child and I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible and they make a quick recovery.
If I was in your shoes, I would so my absolute best to keep it together until my child has recovered, then do JUST enough to get by at work while working hard to find something new.
Find a new employer as soon as possible. I'm saying this as someone who has been there and done that. The company is taking advantage of you and has no plans on giving you a raise under any circumstances ever. Not everyone who runs a company shares the same compassion or moral compass as the rest of humanity and you find out the hard way. They'll lie to your face to get you to do what they want and maybe even throw in some cheap reward to you to placate you for the moment, but they'll never help you actually survive or thrive in the long-term because they're only interested in cheap labor.
Depending on how soon your child will be having surgery, consider using that time off to be active on LinkedIn seeking a new job or having phone interviews during that time.
