Does anyone have any company recommendations for where I could reasonably expect to earn $80,000+ in a remote role in the US? I recently finished my MBA and have several YOE, and I’ve been targeting analyst/consulting roles after completing the Google Data Analytics certificate. Any input is appreciated.

Lots of data jobs are available for remote work. But it all depends on the management or team. Currently I'm an entry level BI developer without MBA making 70k + at Abbott. Not every BI in Abbott are remote. Just lucky to have this team. Try apply in consulting companies like accenture, tata, deloite or healthcare industry like abbott, quest, roche etc.

Thanks for the insight, I’ve definitely been looking for data-oriented positions. I’ll look into jobs with these companies!

I think a majority of companies base salary of state/region!

Most big banks are remote/hybrid

My glowing review, complete with the “it’s not a matter of ‘if’ you’ll make partner but ‘when’” line, resulted in a $4,000 salary increase. For the third year in a row.

I billed 200 more hours than last year and earned another certification. Now at $76k in a low to mid COL area. Top 25 firm.

Is it time to jump ship?

So, I had received a job offer and was waiting for conflicts to clear in my new position before submitting my notice at my current firm. Ended up deciding to quit for personal reasons before then. Mostly, I felt burnout and some family issues. One of the partners at my new firms is close to a partner at the firm Im leaving. How concerned should I be that the partner at the new firm will discuss my taking the position before I leave my current firm?

Recently promoted. Managing 4 direct reports, which essentially means I’m managing an entire department (it’s small company). Offered a 10% increase, which according to my research is low. Also know for a fact that 2 peers were offered 15% right off the bat, even though I’m technically more senior than they are. Live in NYC, 8 years of experience at the company and in total (first job out of college). I’m being told that there is no chance of negotiating further. Am I being taken advantage of?

When is the right time to ask for a raise in salary? Nearing the end of my first year at current tech startup. We don’t have a formal process to request a merit or cost of living salary increase that I know of… there’s less then 15 people in our company. I made a big no no when joining the company and did not negotiate the salary before accepting. Should I informally chat about future compensation to my boss? He’s a pretty laid back guy and I think he may be flexible with me.

Should I expect a raise at my first annual review? If so, how much? And if no raise is offered is there anything else I can ask for? It’s been made clear my performance exceeds expectations.

What do you think about a 2% salary increase? I bring a lot to the table and I am the second recruiter with most hires.
Should I talk to my manager about this and ask for more? This is a big company and new hires for the same role are getting paid more due to inflation way more than what I would get with this 2% raise.

Was brought in to interview for a Director RA position. After an interview, the hiring manager decided I was a better fit as a Senior Manager.

Got through the rest of my interviews with flying colors.

The owner of the company forgot to tell their hiring manager they dont hire managers with direct reports as remote. So they bumped the role down to an individual contributor.

The role went from 200k range to 140k. I'm pretty frustrated.
