There were rumors a few years ago but it never materalized. Buying a consulting firm outright is too expensive when they can pick out the best pyramids and hire them in loads for a fraction of the cost. Buying the whole firm didn't make sense back then and still doesn't make sense now.

Big 4 buyout is more likely than Bain buyout. Don’t see the strategic rationale. ME unit used to be a Kearney global growth driver which would have been very attractive as this would have directly complemented Bain. That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

Moving to Dubai to start with Kearney in November.

Considering buying an apartment instead of renting as my parents are in the Middle east and gives greater control over living costs (landlords seem difficult?).

Anyone here owning an apartment in Marina? As Australians we are keen to have shops, cafes, gyms in walkable distance…any other areas apart from Marina that can offer this?
