I'm in an awkward position where my client expects me to be both the strategist who develops the plan AND the person who executes it. Our agreement was for advisory services only. When I try to clarify the scope, they act like I'm being difficult. How do you maintain boundaries without seeming uncooperative?

Evening! Dog owners who live in condo rentals downtown.. did you tell your landlord you had a dog? I’m in a rental with a lease that says no pets (i’m sure a common clause?) and i didn’t have any pets moving in. 6 months in, i got a puppy lol. I don’t want to invite potential conflict by updating my landlord, my lawyer partner says the no pets clause is void in toronto anyway - but I worry about a bad landlord reference if they find out i.e come for repairs.
