I'm in the ADP program and am about to graduate to MFA. I'm in a wonderful spot in a high net worth/cost of living area. I got a job offer for 200k from an individual fa with a sole proprietorship advising office. With opportunity to increase but it's in a low cost of living low net worth area and I think he does a lot of insurance which isn't preferrable to me. Is it likely as a MFA I can make a similar or greater salary? It seems like the other mfas at the Merrill office each have 300M aum.

Hi all 🙂👋🏻 Apologies for such a late post. I have an offer of 18 CTC(1L joining bonus) from Larsen & Toubro Infotech & 12.5 fixed from IBM .
My joining in both are in around May last week. Tomorrow my IBM pre onboarding HR will connect with me. Should I ask for a counter offer tomorrow itself?
Or should I ask 2 weeks before joining?
Many told me that companies revise CTC when the joining date is near, else they show less interest. So should I go for it now itself?

We are a firm of 5 transactional attorneys and the bonus structure is very unclear. The usual “based on personal performance and firm profitability” language. I wonder how this is calculated in general. What is the percentage bracket of the bonus? Assume it is a high performance 9+ year attorney and the firm is profitable (even with COVID).
